Support services such as our Day Habilitation and Vocational Programs are integral components in RMI’s service package. The Training Center Day Habilitation Program enables our participants to engage in a combination of life skills training, as well as socialization activities that utilize community resources on a regular basis. Our Community Employment programs provide diverse opportunities to gainful employment. The Supported Employment component assists clients in obtaining competitive employment in the individual’s preferred career field as well as within their immediate neighborhoods, while the sheltered Workshop addresses job readiness needs in a small structured setting. Regular and frequent communication between the client, advocates and the Support Services programs has proven to be the key to our success.
